Drill String Failure Prevention – Sunday 20th November
This 3 day course concentrates on recognising drill string failure mechanisms, covering what the crews can do to minimise the risk of a failure occurring and the correct handling of the drill string to prevent expensive remedial work.

Drill String Design – Tuesday 22nd November
This 3 day course covers the theory and practice of Drill String Design building up from simple vertical applications through to deviated wells. The focus is on ensuring a sound understanding of the relevant component properties and key considerations necessary for effective design. These elements are put into practice and reinforced with a range of classroom excercises to consolidate the course principles.
